NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ: NXPI) is a Dutch-American chipmaker headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, supplying processors, connectivity and security chips for automotive, industrial, IoT and mobile applications. It has manufactured in Malaysia since 1972; its Petaling Jaya site in Selangor is one of the group’s principal assembly and test operations, expanding to roughly 900,000 sq ft under a project that broke ground in August 2026.
