Kong Thai Lai (廣泰來茶室) is a Hainanese kopitiam founded in George Town, Penang in 1920 and run by three generations of the Tan family. Known for its own-roasted coffee, kaya and charcoal-grilled toast, it counted the late Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew among its daily regulars. It closes on 26 September 2026.
