Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM), founded in 1963, makes chlor-alkali chemicals, sulphuric acid and polymer chemicals at nine plants in Terengganu, Johor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan and Selangor. Batu Kawan Bhd took it private in 2021 and in 2026 agreed to sell it to TMK Chemical.

TMK Chemical to buy CCM and its nine plants for RM939.9m

TMK Chemical will buy Chemical Company of Malaysia from Batu Kawan Bhd for RM939.9m in cash and shares, taking nine plants on about 122 acres in five states.
